Refund & Cancellation Policy
At Topic Companion, we value the time and connection dedicated to every senior. To ensure our companions are available and prepared for every meaningful conversation, we adhere to the following policy:
1. Completed Calls

No Refunds: Once a companion call has been completed, it is non-refundable. Our service is based on the time and engagement provided during the session.
2. Cancellations & Rescheduling
We understand that family schedules can change. To accommodate adjustments, we require at least 24 hours' notice prior to the scheduled call time.

Rescheduling: If you notify us at least 24 hours in advance, you may reschedule the call to a future date at no additional cost.

Refunds for Uncompleted Calls: If you choose to cancel a scheduled call with at least 48 hours' notice and do not wish to reschedule, you are eligible for a refund for that specific uncompleted session.
3. Late Cancellations & No-Shows

Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice are not eligible for a refund or a guaranteed reschedule, as the companion’s time has already been reserved.

Missed Calls: If a senior is unavailable at the time of the scheduled call without prior notice, the session will be considered completed and is non-refundable.
4. Subscription Managed Refunds
We strive to be fair and transparent with our billing. Please review our guidelines for subscription-based refunds:

Completed Sessions: Any companion call that has already taken place is non-refundable.

Missed Calls & Rescheduling: If you miss a scheduled call, you may reschedule it at any time within the current billing month. However, unused sessions do not "roll over" to the following month.

Cancellations: If you cancel your subscription in the middle of a billing cycle, you are eligible for a prorated refund. This refund will be calculated based on the number of remaining, incomplete calls in your plan for that month.
